PVDF masterbatch is a type of fluoroplastic masterbatch where the core component is polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) resin. It is produced by mixing PVDF resin with pigments, dispersants, and additives through processes like melt extrusion to achieve color customization and functional modifications. PVDF masterbatch has excellent chemical resistance, weather resistance, mechanical properties, electrical insulation and easy processing. It is used in various applications such as construction materials, electronics, automotive parts, chemical industry, and others.

There are different classifications of PVDF masterbatch:

  • By function: coloring masterbatch (various colors), functional masterbatch (anti-static, conductive, flame retardant, weather resistant).

  • By processing technology: extrusion grade, injection grade, blown film grade.

  • By carrier resin type.

  • By application field: construction, electronics, chemical industry, etc.

Typical formulations of PVDF masterbatch include mainly PVDF resin (60%-85%), pigments (10%-20% for coloring masterbatch), plasticizers, stabilizers, and fillers.

The production process generally includes raw material preparation, mixing, extrusion, granulation, and packaging.

PVDF masterbatch can be customized for different requirements and serves as a key material in industries requiring durable, chemically resistant, and electrically insulating polymers with color or functional properties.
