Toughening masterbatch is a highly concentrated agent that is incorporated into a base polymer to improve its physical properties, specifically its toughness and impact resistance. It contains a toughening agent, such as an elastomer or silicone, dispersed within a carrier resin, which is then easily added to a plastic during processing to enhance durability and prevent brittleness without significantly altering other mechanical properties. Compatible with a wide range of plastics such as PP, PE, PS, ABS, and PC, this masterbatch helps manufacturers produce high-quality, resilient products.
